LOCATION

ROLE OVERVIEW
• Own end‑to‑end program management for complete 3D printing hardware programs, from development planning through launch and mass production, and serve as a key program leader for cross‑functional execution.
• Serve as the primary program interface across China suppliers, internal teams, global stakeholders and senior leadership, keeping scope, schedule, quality, cost and resources aligned and providing concise status, risks, trade‑offs and recommendations for decision‑making.
• Drive execution with strong ownership, structured communication and timely escalation, while building effective working relationships with JDM/CM partners and stakeholders across cultures and time zones.
• Bring hands‑on understanding of hardware development and manufacturing to support practical decisions and fast execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build and manage integrated development plans, milestones, dependencies, resources, costs and production readiness from concept through MP.
• Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders and manufacturing partners to deliver program objectives, maintain alignment and resolve dependencies.
• Run regular project reviews, maintain clear status and risk reporting, and provide concise upward communication to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Proactively identify risks, drive mitigation and issue closure, and maintain alignment on quality standards, technical requirements and key decisions.
• Manage JDM / supplier execution, including engineering deliverables, builds, validation, tooling, production ramp, change management and day‑to‑day collaboration.
• Build and maintain strong JDM/CM relationships to enable speed, transparency, efficient collaboration, quality and schedule adherence, while continuously improving program processes and execution efficiency across a global matrix organization.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• 7+ years of hardware product / project management experience, with at least 3 complete complex electromechanical or motion‑driven product programs led end‑to‑end from development through mass production.
• Hands‑on experience with consumer hardware / electromechanical products (e.g., UAVs, FDM 3D/2D printers, robotic vacuums, laser products or other motion‑driven smart hardware); solid understanding of hardware development and manufacturing processes.
• Deep understanding of the hardware product development lifecycle and problem‑solving processes, with the technical judgment to evaluate trade‑offs, support decisions and drive program strategy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong command of project planning, scheduling, risk management, resource planning, cost tracking and cross‑functional execution; working knowledge of PMP/IPD principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel or similar tools for integrated planning and program tracking is required.
• Fluent spoken and written English is required; able to communicate clearly with U.S./global stakeholders in meetings, technical reviews and executive updates.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing and conflict‑resolution skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at working level and with senior leadership.
• Highly proactive, self‑driven and resilient, with strong ownership, persistence and follow‑through in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
NICE‑TO‑HAVE
• Prior experience in a multinational company or working directly with U.S./European teams and contract manufacturers.
• PMP certification or equivalent formal project management training.
• Familiarity with Cpk, DOE, SPC and quality/data analysis tools such as T‑tests and X‑bar/R charts is a plus.
