Role Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager to accelerate our growth across key markets. This role is designed for a true hunter — someone who thrives on building new pipelines, opening doors, and closing high‑value partnerships. You will identify, engage, and convert strategic merchants, platforms, and ecosystem partners to expand our payment solutions footprint.
Key Responsibilities
1. New Business Acquisition (Hunter Focus)
Identify, target, and acquire new merchants, platforms, and enterprise clients across priority verticals
Build and manage a strong pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and market intelligence
Lead end‑to‑end sales cycles: prospecting → pitching → negotiation → contracting → onboarding
2. Strategic Business Development
Develop and execute BD strategies to expand adoption of our global payment solutions
Identify partnership opportunities with PSPs, ISVs, marketplaces, SaaS platforms, and financial institutions
Collaborate with product and operations teams to design tailored payment solutions for clients
3. Market Expansion & Revenue Growth
Deliver quarterly and annual revenue targets
Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to refine go‑to‑market strategies
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings
4. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work closely with product, compliance, risk, and technical teams to ensure smooth client onboarding
Provide client feedback to influence product roadmap and localization needs
Support marketing with case studies, insights, and co‑marketing opportunities
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience
5+ years of BD / sales experience in payments, fintech, SaaS, e‑commerce, or financial services
Proven track record of hunting and closing new business
Experience selling to enterprise clients, merchants, or platform partners
Skills
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities in English (written & spoken)
Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
Strong pipeline management and CRM discipline
