Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for automotive components and related commodities.
Identify, evaluate, and develop qualified local suppliers to support localization initiatives.
Lead supplier negotiations covering cost, quality, delivery, and commercial terms.
Drive annual cost reduction targets through localization, value engineering, supplier optimization, and strategic sourcing activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders including Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Program Management teams.
Conduct supplier capability assessments, audits, and performance reviews.
Monitor market trends, industry developments, and supplier capacity to mitigate supply risks.
Support new product development projects by ensuring supplier readiness and competitive sourcing solutions.
Manage supplier performance metrics and continuous improvement programs.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and procurement procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or related disciplines.
Minimum 10 years of sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience within the automotive or automotive components industry.
Strong experience in automotive parts sourcing and supplier management.
Proven track record in localization projects and cost reduction initiatives.
Good understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and supplier landscape in China.
Experience working with Tier 1, Tier 2, or OEM automotive suppliers.
Strong negotiation and commercial management skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Fluent Mandarin and good English communication skills.
