1. Legal Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute the company’s legal strategy aligned with business objectives in consumer health.
Advise the CEO and executive team on legal risks, opportunities, and governance.
Lead and mentor the legal team, fostering a culture of accountability, agility, and business partnership.
2. Regulatory & Compliance Oversight
Ensure compliance with all applicable consumer health regulations (TGA, ACCC, advertising codes, product safety standards, privacy laws).
Oversee product claims, labelling, marketing approvals, and consumer communications.
Partner with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Medical Affairs to manage product lifecycle compliance.
3. Commercial & Corporate Advisory
Draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of commercial agreements: distribution, licensing, manufacturing, supply, marketing, digital health, and partnerships.
Support M&A, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.
Provide legal input on pricing, promotions, e‑commerce, and consumer engagement initiatives.
4. Risk Management & Governance
Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks, policies, and internal controls.
Lead risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies across business units.
Manage disputes, litigation, and external counsel relationships.
5. Data Privacy & Digital Health
Oversee compliance with privacy laws (e.g., GDPR if applicable).
Advise on digital health products, data use, AI‑enabled tools, and consumer data governance.
6. Stakeholder & External Engagement
Represent the company with regulators, industry bodies, and external partners.
Provide training to internal teams on legal and compliance matters.
